Penthouse Brings 'Penthouse Letters' Online

LOS ANGELES — Penthouse Global Media Inc. has announced it is bringing one of the brand’s beloved publications online with PenthouseLetters.com, a digital hub for one of the company’s most popular and successful entities.

According to the company, the new site offers fans instant access to thousands of erotic letters, explicit images, sex tips, and more erotica-centric adult content, bringing everything readers love about the magazine into the 21st century, featuring the brand’s signature intimate letters and images archived and searchable by subject, making it easier than ever to target readers’ specific tastes.

The free site is updated with three full Penthouse Letters each week accompanied by softer photos and a variety of short teasers, with a monthly membership granting access to Penthouse Letters, galleries, Penthouse Variations Letters, Penthouse Magazine, video content from Penthouse.com and more.

“Penthouse Magazine has always been at the center of the conversation on sex and culture and it was only time before we brought Penthouse Letters online for the modern generation of erotica readers,” Penthouse CEO Kelly Holland said. “I believe Penthouse Letters, especially in the online space, has the opportunity to bring together the best-established erotica writers with new, emerging artists to create a spectacular source for thought-provoking erotica. The site will expand to accommodate the tastes of our growing audience, and we look forward to hearing how Penthouse fans like the new PenthouseLetters.com.”

One of the first outlets for user-generated adult content, Penthouse Letters burst on the scene in 1979 when readers began sending tales of sexual exploits to Penthouse Magazine’s Penthouse Forum. Giving readers a naughty peek into the sex lives of everyday people, the letters soared in popularity and led to a magazine all their own, which remains a leading force in the erotica space and now boasts an audience almost equally split between male and female readers.

Fans can soon expect a Penthouse Letters app, making it easy to sneak in a five-minute fantasy or a 10-minute temptation anytime they like, as well as peruse sex tips and advice for a fruitful sex life.
